Power 92.3 "AfterNights"
Hey! I'm Jason Parkinson and I'm the newbie to the Power crew. I'm on weekdays from 4p - 10p which isn't really "afternoons" and isn't really "nights" so I've dubbed it "AfterNights". I've been doing radio for over 10 years now and it is in my blood for sure! My wife get's a little tired of me cranking up Power 92.3 everytime I'm cruising around Peoria, but she's starting to understand my passion for music!
I'm 25 years old and a Central Illinois native! I graduated from Canton High School and grew up listening to Power 92 with my friends. Working here is a dream come true! After CHS, I speant 2 years at Spoon River College getting a degree in Web Design and then moved on to Illinois State University in Normal (Go Redbirds!) to major in Television Journalism with a minor in Theatre.
My friends call me a "work-aholic" but the truth is that I enjoy being busy! Between managing a mobile DJ company and programming the best radio station in Peoria, I find some time to spend with my beautiful wifey and great friends.

Jason's Favorite Food:
Well, I'm a big fan of Italian food (thanks to my Grandparents) but I'll really eat just about anything. Free Food is even better and I have YET to find a radio DJ that doesn't enjoy free food!
Jason's Pets:
I've had a fish for a few years now, which is actually harder to care for than you may imagine. I just recently added a kitten to my family. (Her name is Roxy... yes... my wife named her)
What does Jason do for fun?
I enjoy watching TV - Heroes, American Idol, Prison Break, LOST, etc. DJing weddings and school dances is fun too! Keep your eyes open and you're sure to see me out somewhere!

I guess I'll tell you about me... My name is Kylie, and I've actually been helping with Jason's show since way before he was on Power 92. It's exciting to be working on the #1 night show in Peoria and on my favorite radio station! I'm sure you'll hear about me when Jason throws me under the bus on the air when I'm slacking off and not doing my job.
